Kumarapuram is a thickly populated colony 2 Kms away from Mettupalayam in Coimbatore district, in the diocese of Palakkad. On 2nd June 1989, Little Flower convent was established with a view to conduct the primary section of San Jose School, Mettupalayam due to lack of space. After a few years the school was cancelled because of low strength. Hence a book binding Centre was started instead to provide job facilities to the poor women of the locality. The note books for all our schools in Tamil Nadu are provided from the Centre. A nursery school also is being seen here. Along with all these works sisters find time to visit houses in the locality and assist them as far as possible. Besides  all these sisters co-operate in the different activities like Catechism, family prayer units and pious associations of their Parish, St.Joseph Church, Mettupalayam.
